NCCD Director D.Nyamkhuu said at a press conference at the Ministry of Health today that 10 people infected with the coronavirus have recovered and are moving on to the next stage of observation.
Eight of them are students, two are 49-55 years old and have been treated for 17-55 days. “Students had a short treatment period of 17-19 days, while a 64-year-old woman with liver cancer was treated for 45 days. The 49-year-old was treated for 55 days. D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, emphasized that the treatment of the elderly and the chronically ill is complex, and in addition to the treatment of the virus, the combination of treatment for the underlying disease is unique.
As of 11 a.m. today, 108 people have been cured of 197 cases of COVID-19 infection in Mongolia. The NCCD has 132 people under surveillance and research, and 89 people are being treated for coronavirus infection.
