As of June 10, 2020, 19,159 long-term residents from 118 countries are living in Mongolia. More specifically, there are 3,989 workers, 2,825 students, 2,096 investors, and 1,882 immigrants, which is a decrease of 4-5 thousand compared to previous years. 95 percent of the immigrants are citizens of the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation, of which 1,376 have married Mongolian nationals.
